Deutsche Reichsbahn

Deutsche Reichsbahn was a state-owned railway company in Germany that operated between 1920 and 1994. The company was divided into three separate entities after World War II, with the establishment of two separate German states. The western part was known as Deutsche Bundesbahn, while the eastern part became known as Deutsche Reichsbahn. Deutsche Reichsbahn operated as the primary railway operator in East Germany until its dissolution in 1994. The company provided railway infrastructure, transport, and logistics services to various sectors of the economy, and played a pivotal role in the development of the region's economy. Its legacy is still evident in the infrastructure of the modern-day German railway network.
