Bora Hamamcioglu

Bora Hamamcioglu is a venture capitalist and crypto enthusiast who is the founder and Managing Partner of BECO Capital, a leading venture capital firm in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. He has a strong background in finance and investments, with over 15 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, and corporate finance. Bora is passionate about emerging technologies, especially blockchain and cryptocurrencies. He has been actively investing in and advising startups in the crypto space, and has a strong belief in the potential of blockchain to transform industries and create new opportunities for innovation. Prior to founding BECO Capital, Bora worked at several leading finance and investment firms, including Goldman Sachs, Lazard, and Citigroup. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Bosphorus University in Istanbul. In addition to his work at BECO Capital, Bora is also an active member of several industry associations and networks, including the Arab Business Angels Network (ABAN), the Middle East Venture Capital Association (MEVCA), and the Harvard Business School Club of the GCC.
