John Jansen

John Jansen is a financial technology expert, entrepreneur, and cryptocurrency enthusiast. He is the founder and CEO of Deribit, a popular cryptocurrency derivatives exchange. Before founding Deribit, Jansen worked in various roles in the financial industry. He served as a derivatives trader at Optiver, one of the world's leading market-making firms. He also worked at Tibra Trading, where he helped develop trading algorithms and software.
