Matthew Pieterse

Matthew Pieterse is a crypto enthusiast and entrepreneur based in the United States. He is the co-founder and managing partner of Softbank Latin America Fund, a venture capital firm that invests in technology startups across Latin America. Prior to launching Softbank Latin America Fund, Pieterse founded several technology startups, including FunMobile, a mobile gaming company, and SocialLadder, a social media marketing platform. He was also a partner at Point Guard Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage companies in the technology and digital media sectors. Pieterse is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School. Pieterse is actively involved in the cryptocurrency community and has written about the potential of blockchain technology to transform industries such as finance and healthcare.
