Sep Kamvar

Sep Kamvar is an Iranian-American computer scientist and entrepreneur who is best known for his work in the field of data mining, web search and social computing. He obtained his Ph.D. in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and went on to become an associate professor of media arts and sciences at MIT. Kamvar is also highly regarded as a crypto enthusiast and has been involved in various blockchain and cryptocurrency projects. His interest in the field began in 2013 when he joined the board of advisors for Bitcoin wallet provider Blockchain.info. Since then, he has been actively involved in the crypto space and has invested in various blockchain-based startups.
